On March 19-31, 2025, STR will participate in the 29-th Hasselt Diamond Workshop – SBDD XXIX, that will take place in Hasselt, Belgium. We will have a booth at the exhibition and also present two works:
- “Improved Uniformity of Diamond Growth Through the Modeling of MPCVD on the Large Area Substrates” by Ivan Petras, Yury Shustrov, and Andrey Smirnov from STR Belgrade. In this work, we present results of process optimization in terms of improvement of diamond growth rate and nitrogen doping uniformity for conventional MPCVD reactor operating at 2.45 GHz frequency and for the large-scale 915 MHz reactor.
- “Roles of gas-phase and surface kinetics of CxHy in diamond CVD” by Tanvi Nikhar, Ivan Petras, Yury Shustrov, Luke Suter, Andrey Smirnov, and Sergey V. Baryshev from Michigan State University, STR Belgrade, and Fraunhofer USA. The work features a series of experiments and simulations conducted in order to experimentally unpin and evaluate the roles of surface and gas phase kinetics in MPCVD process.
